Cancel Netflix step by step

Sign in to netflix.com in a browser.

Open your profile menu (top right) and choose Account.

Under Membership & Billing, click Cancel Membership.

Confirm with Finish Cancellation on the next screen.
Before you cancel
Refunds: Netflix doesn't give partial refunds — you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
After cancelling: Streaming continues until the end of the current billing period. Your profiles, watch history, and My List are kept for 10 months in case you rejoin.
Good to know: If you only want a break, Netflix keeps your account details for 10 months — you can rejoin later without losing your lists.
Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play?
Subscriptions billed through Apple or Google can only be cancelled in the store, not on the service's website. iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app never cancels the billing.
